We are so happy to welcome a new summer intern student, Han Shi, in Summer 2017. Let us hear what he said about his research and MCL.
1. Could you briefly introduce yourself and your research interests?
I am Han Shi from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. My research interests are data mining and computer vision. I spent my sophomore year in data mining and networks. After that, I find my interests in Artificial Intelligence, and want to do some research in this field.
2. What’s your first impression of USC and MCL?
The first time I entered USC, I was fascinated by its beautiful scene. And I think MCL is a suitable group to do research, whose atmosphere is very positive. The professor and other seniors are very kind to me, and give a lot of help to me.
3. What’s your future expectation for MCL?
I want to make some progress in video forecasting, which I am interested in. During the time here, I will try my best to learn somethings from excellent people here from any aspects.
